A student teacher who is allegedly doing his mandatory teaching practice has reportedly created an unwanted misconduct record in Ghana.
The student teacher on teaching practice in one of the basic schools in the Asokore Mampong municipality in the Ashanti region has allegedly did the unthinkable. He has allegedly impregnated 24 students under his tutorship, Ghana-based voltaweb.com has said in a report that has later been rejected by the Ghana’s education authority.

The student teacher was also reported to have put four regular female teachers in the family as well as the school headmistress.
The student teacher is a level 400 student of a popular College of Education in the Western Region.
The report of the sexual-escapades of the student teacher the climax when Community members got wind of his amorous relationship with the headmistress, Voltawebpage.com report says.
The Asokore Mampong Municipal Police Command were said to have arrested.
However, authorities of the Ghana Education Service in Asokore Mampong in the Ashanti Region rejected claims by the news portal that a teacher-trainee, posted to a school in the municipality has impregnated 24 of the school girls, four female teachers and the headmistress.
In a statement dated June 3, 2022, the Asokore Mampong Municipal Education Directorate said all the eight schools in the municipality are headed by males, except one which is headed by a female described as a woman in her advanced age and preparing to go on retirement next year.
GES refutes reports that a teacher trainee has impregnated 24 students, 4 teachers, headmistress.
The statement added that the municipality is an example of massive decline in teenage pregnancies.
“The Directorate has records to prove the reduction of teenage pregnancy in our schools. The Girls’ Education unit has over the past 3 years recorded lower number of pregnant school girls in schools in our Municipality,” portions of the release stated.
The directorate noted that it is therefore impossible for anyone to have impregnated all 31 persons as claimed in that story by the Volta Web Page.
The Directorate, admonished the media “to contact us to verify or confirm issues regarding education in the municipality at any time.”
“As part of our open door policy, the Asokore Mampong Education Directorate is ever ready to provide further information and clarification on this and related matters,” they added.
